Putting in the V-Mach Kit in HW 97K

Post by Ranjeet Singh » Fri Mar 30, 2007 12:23 pm

Well Gentlemen,

Finally my HW 97k is Venomised:)...

After working for about 1 hour and a lot of fight, we could open the trigger housing..It was REALLY tight...and then putting in all the parts

And finally Mack The Knife, singlehandedly put the spring back with his body as the spring compressor...Mind you its a full blown FAC spring:)

All in all quite an experience..and a very good one..Pran was also there to witness it..And help. A big thanks to him as well..

Only thing was we took too long a time, well past Mack The Knife's kids dinner time. Now I owe them one..

And one more thing I figured out, A DIY kit ain't that easy to put in..and if not with Mack The Knife's help, I could never do it myself...

Thanks Mack The Knife ..

Cheers
Ranjeet

No sweat. You have a tack-driver in that rifle.

Happy and safe shooting.

so i take it that FAC rated venom kits are legal in india? i mean, they don't need a license?does that mean i can actually pick up a FAC venom in uk and get it fitted in india, rather than england where i think i need a lasanse for fitting?

take care, and importantly, have fun!!

Saptarshi,

One of our members, Mario (from Belgium), has already done a photo sequence of the strip down. You can see it here... http://users.skynet.be/fa830879/airgunn ... strip.html

What i meant was that I would've seen Ranjeet's PM in the night if you hadn't called me.

Please give me a call when you're free.
