Heard of any Colt Pythons, sold lately?

Post by ribaalber » Fri Jan 20, 2012 3:49 pm

Anyone heard of any Colt Pythons being exchanged hands in the past couple years?
What was the rumored rate?

If I have to spend several Lakhs on a pre 80's imported handgun, I would do it on a Colt Python, no less....
Will own a Python, definitely by 2015 though...

Also, if you have heard of any S&W Model 19 being bought/sold.. Just gauging the price.. and how many years I need to save up :-)

Below is an unfired Elite Python... A collector's dream. My wet dream.

Pistol762: Most probably you are talking about S&W revolver in .32 S&W L caliber. Ribaalber is asking about model 19 which is in .357 magnum caliber.

Ribaalber: There was one S&W in .357 magnum for sale here on IFG few months ago by a member named Jattana. Asking price was around 12 lacs.

Poof there goes my savings for a BMW.. But then a Colt Python is a Rolls Royce.
I guess I will get it on a TR from the US for 1500-2000 $..

a peice like Colt Python and any S&W in 357 magnum would go anywhere between 15 - 20 lacs.
but they are really hard to come by, most of the people who have them just dont want to sell.

i wish imoprt of fire arms was still on..
