but here they are not even accepting the papers for area validity and pointing to the circulation.
If you refer my previous post, I had guessed this and mentioned the following: "......rarely will they give in writing that they are denying license or refusing increase of area validity because of the MHA notification.
In most of the cases they will refuse to receive and acknowledge the application."
So can i put RTI, requesting information that what is the criteria and law under which the addition in area validity form is accepted and then evaluated and decided.
Yes you can, but please remember if you put in a broad question, you may get broad and vague reply which may not serve your purpose. If you make specific and to the point question/s, specific and to the point replies you are likely to get. In my opinion avoid general words like "criteria", "evaluated", "decided" etc. Keep your question/s
short, specific and to the point, so that the PIO gets no room to interpret questions according to his convenience. Licensing Authority is supposed to implement only the law and nothing more. Hence as per my understanding, your concern is related to "the applicable sections of the law/bye law/notifications/any documents that have
the force of law for the purpose of getting the area validity of arms license increased." Once you are provided this information, you will be able to figure out the rest.
