Hi All,
Need advice ..!!
I am planning to order scope mount from Target Tune, I noted that we need to make 3 holes. Actually, I am afraid to make holes in my IHP, I think when we will make the first hole, it can make hole or damage the main spring also and will create trouble when I load and shoot.
Kindly help me to clarify this.
Thanks & Regards,
Madhur Acharya

Dear Sir,
Madhur Acharya
As I have told you earlier there are some gel type adhesive by which you can fix your scope on the rifle without making a single hole on the barrel as far as technicality is concern I can say you this,I may damage your main spring and you may lose some pressure in side the barrel as their may be some problem of leakage but if you go through some blog on this page from page no-1 to 16 you can find that adhesive lies with one of the member of IFG. or else you can get it imported if you cannot find that adhesive in India itself. I hope you will get that adhesive named as J.B.Weld. available in India. You may find this in any Armour shop either in Delhi or in Noida which ever is convenient to you.

Bro ABHRANKASH,
Thank you for the reply..
As per your advice, I have read forums related to IHP scope mounts and found that there are IFGians like Brihacharan (Bala Iyer) , who had bought scope mount from Target-Tune and have installed it successfully.
Let us see their views also on this matter...
Thanks & Regards,

Isnt this target tune thing run by guy who was peddling spurious products and cheating guilable members? Honestly IHP is not kinda air gun to be used with scope. Its better open sight. Try to make it smooth to shoot, there is a thread running and yes stay away from cheat.
Cheers

Hi Madhu,
Please go by the advice of Abharamkash for using JB Weld or any other adhesive in fixing your rail to avoid drilling. I am too having similar problem like yours. But I am bit lucky as Thomast1 is sending me JB Weld.
We should wish some one from our forum to get JB Weld in bulk - as I am told that it is not easily available - and take a pain to provide it to seekers. I am sure many will have it. Lets talk about this also in Wanted section.

Any idea if JB Weld is available in Chennai or is there a list of dealers in India. Any information on this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ebenezer

hello tarique,
this is not profit intended, just a sharing of available resources. when i was first introduced to this stuff i didnt know the quantity required or the material feel of it. so when i asked friends to get it i asked for some excess. and they are the only ones i have with me.. i obviously find some use
and the way it came through, it was at this price then, conversion at the rate on day of transaction, else it will be a loss for me, i hope you understand..
the math then was,
One piece is 4.5$
9.5% Tax > 4.5*9.5/100=0.42 $
3.5% currency conversion 4.5*3.5/100=0.15$
Total > 5.07 $
Converted to Indian Rs (rate @48)> 243
Regards

www.itwplexus.co.uk for further information Product name is MA 300. working time is 4-6 mins drying time is 15-20 mins.
I can arrange this product if anyone needs the same.

Dear Tariquebilal,
Its great to know that you have some alternate product to JB Weld. May please announce how much you want to take for the product you have. It may not be fair enough comparing one product with the other. I am sure there are many, who want to have it.

If you people are interested to fit a scope on the IHP 35 their is another technique in our manufacturing industry their is a technique called leaser welding.
I am not aware of the quality of material used for making the barrels of he gun whether it can sustained the leaser welding or not if the grade of steel can be known then I can advise you for the grade of leaser weld to go with.

I have brought IHP 35 .177 air rifle from AIMCO a month back
I feel the power of the gun become less after about 100 plus pellets because previously the pellets use to stuck in the plywood placed about 15 meters away but now all pellets rebounce from the plywood.
At present I don’t wants to do any kind of tuning but just want my gun to fire to its max power
