Market Prices & Price Checks of Handguns

Post by HydNawab » Wed Dec 03, 2008 10:51 pm

Members,

I found that a dealer in Hyderabad was taking a friend of mine for a ride by selling a S&W .32 revolver to him at 8L and he almost bought it as he does not know the prices.

I thought we would put up the market prices of different handguns for new comers.

The prices have to be generalized assuming they are in good condition and location.

For eg., What would a S&W Model 31-1 cost?Similarly,

S&W Colt Trooper .22
CZ 83
Walther PPK .22
Walther PPK .32
Walther PPK/S .32

and others which are available in the indian market.

Cheers

Ashar

Just kind of wondering that should not the prices of imported handguns start seeing a downward trend now that IOF is producing handguns that seem to be quite popular considering the fact that applicants far outweigh production and the price is a sure winner and as far as reports go , the quality does not seem to be too suspect...........

We can start with the IOf product

A second hand good condition Ashani Pistol = 1.10lakhs - 1.25 lakhs.

A second hand revolver ,good condition = 95k - 1.05lakhs

A second hand hand .22 revolver ,good condition = 50k - 60k

It all depends on the buyer's desperation and the seller's
salesmanship.
Even a third hand,6-7 year old Ashani can fetch 1.7l

I was told that IFG is often referred though not officially acknowledged while deciding the prices of IOF products since it is considered the the most informative and has first hand actual user information available.

So Guys don't be shocked if you find the IOF revolver has a new price tag of 1-05 instead of 75 after all you are already saying that you are buying and selling it at that price .

Good point AC, in fact I have had many members complain that they missed out on good deals after the dealer checked up on prices here (IFG) and then simply refused to sell at the previously agreed upon price!

Price check - Bernadeli .22lr pistol

Post by Mack The Knife » Wed Dec 10, 2008 10:31 am

What is the going rate for these pistols assuming the condition to be very good and the fact that it will be a private transaction.

Thanks.

Realistically speaking what a dealer would offer a private party would be bet 90 K -1L.

Thanks Sanjay.

Could you also tell me what price a Delhi dealer would offer for a Arminus Model 7 revolver in .22lr calibre and in good condition?

Thanks.

Mack The Knife sir,
I suggest we all use a common thread like the one created by Ashar sir, to ask all questions related to the market prices of handguns, instead of creating multiple threads.

Mack The Knife,

What is the model of the Bernadelli pistol?

I have seen a couple of Hi-standard .22's being sold for 75,000/- some months back.Considering that the price has gone up in the recent times, the price for a .22 revolver/pistol should be not more than the price Sanjay has given.

Planning to buy both of them?
