Shooting in Delhi

Post by clownfish » Thu Oct 19, 2006 3:43 pm

hi folks..
greetings!
i gather a lot of you guys here are active shooters on the Delhi circuit. I am new to the shooting fraternity and have a few queries which I would be grateful to have answered. ....

I would like to join the DSRA or alternatively the NRAI. Between these two, which would you recommend. Please keep in mind that I would like to shoot at the Karni Singh Range (for which there is a separate membership i believe) and that I would like to use .22 lr ammo which i believe can be bought (cheaply) at the Karni Singh range by NRAI/ DSRA members.

i'd be grateful if you could confirm the above as correct.

thanks a tonne..
CF

Hello,

As inspectaire Clouseau would say," do you have a lisanse?"

Okay the tuglakabad trick is complex but here is how you can save about Rs.3000 per month. Get a DSRA membership, it is honoured on weekends and you can use the range under play and pay scheme from SAI. The ammo is also bought from the Delhi state guys on weekends provided that you are a member and have a 'lisanse' for.22.

Then only then will you lie at the verdant greens of tuglakabad and find yourself surrounded by equally insane and gun loving people ;-).

Regards,

Dev

Harsh,

Check the post (in this section) pertaining to the DSRA organised Delhi state championships (just gone by). It has the phone numbers and addresses of the office bearers - along with the timings when they are available at those numbers.

HTH

Cheers!
