There are several gun shops in Udaipur. Visit them, there you will get it readymade spring.

Fakir Mohammed is your man in Udaipur. He is at the muslim settlement near Amba Mata on the banks of the Pichola lake. Just ask around for the guy who repairs 'bundooks'

Be prepared to hear a liturgy of his life's woes though. But his work is par excellence for Udaipur.
