Hi Kalki,
I don't know about Bangalore but there are some companies in Jodhpur (Rajasthan) that manufacture excellent replicas of period weapons like muzzle loading rifles and pistols. You could look up on the net. These companies are the main prop suppliers to foreign film makers. There are couple of dealers in Delhi too.
Miniature canons were also made to fire .410 shells or .22 rounds and some, called carbide canons, used to produce smoke and noise for effect. Some of these carbide canons can be found with old gun dealers in Kolkata, Lucknow and Kanpur. As far as Kolkata is concerned the dealers have kept them on display and wont sell them. You could try other cities or contact the replica makers.
Hope that helps

Kalki, the big gun shops in Kolkata are more than hundred years old and even the newer ones have crossed the 50 mark. The dealers have a tendency to keep old stuff as souvenirs for their sentimental value.

I really cant help you with addressees in Jodhpur but I did visit one such factory in 2000 when I was attending a training programme at the Air Force station. The replicas were really well made. Forum members from North India should be able to help

Best wishes

TC

You can give it a try.

Wow Rishiraj.
Those cannons look lovely.

Reminds me of my visit to Fort William. Calcutta.
There was this lovely park full of old cannons called the "Gun Park".Probably had more than 20 old guns.Really old guns.

Does one need any documentation for displaying them?
I am quite sure they must be expensive.
