Which would be more easier to carry IOF revolver or Ashani

Post by ankur1011111 » Fri Apr 08, 2011 11:24 am

Hi,
I have .32 IOF revolver I was thinking to change it to Ashani,
My main problem is that I feel revolver bit uncomfortable to carry undershirt.
Also I am concerned about security so need advice .. Does Ashani misses on indian ammo.

I have .32 revolver 2004 model, and my father has 2010 model revolver my fathers revolver never misses.
I got my revolver services by a good gun smith Azaad arms in dehradun, he charges 4000/- and changed its leaf spring
he told all is okay now for your revolver but
I am afraid that if during emergency my revolver should not miss.

Should i go for New IOF .32 revolver or Used Ashani
One thing is that I am fond of weapons and I would be bound for next 5 years If I get a new IOF made stuff.

does he throws the revoler at the target? he must have good aim and strong arm.

or you mean the bullets fired from the revolver hits the target?

or you mean the bullets never misses?

or you mean the bullets fire when the trigger is pulled and there is no misfire?

then you are in trouble! i think you would have been in trouble if you needed to use your revolver.

with the revolver their are less complication in moving parts etc then the pistol. there is no hard and fast rules as each one would have a different view on the subject. one main point is use the one you can have faith in and comfortable with. in an ideal situation i would perfer pistol and revolver as a backup. but thats just me. :D

only if you buy from the IOF direct.

Easier to carry ?
Ashani .

Reliability index ?
Maintain your firearm well , practice optimally (if not a lot) , keep the Faith ! :)

Hi Doc,
i guess u should be proficient enough and comfortable enough to use your fire arm in a life threatining situation in the first place, regarding concealment and comfort between ashani and the iof revolver ,it would be ashani in my opinion.but then as i said it would be more important that one should be proficient with the weapon he is carrying.

 vinay
