With Bespoke on this.None of the handguns you list is a 'Best Gun".All are commercially produced guns that are obscenely expensive only because there is a ban on imports and also because IOF guns are so shoddily made.

welcome aboard mate!My 2 cents,go for the revolver,not that the Walther isn't good,its a legend!

I'd go with the revolver for a a lot of reasons. The caliber is better than .380, easy to use, easy to rely on, easy to maintain/repair. Overall side by side, the revolver is a better choice when compared next to a semi-auto. But if you want to pretend to be James Bond (I do too), get the ppk.

Buy the gun in better condition. If i were you i'd look at the condition first. then if they were equally good then I would buy the revolver as i am a revolver fan.I would ideally like to have both a revolver as well as a semiauto but if i can have only one gun it is the revolver. The pros and cons you have to decide for yourself and should be able to make up your mind reading previously posted posts on the subject.

hi everyone,
i guess it comes down to preferanece while choosing revolver or a pistol, there has been a lot of discussion about which being a better weapon.but i am sure about one thing if it has to be your first arm and if u are not that proficient with the working of a pistol then revolvolver is a wise option.

Ditto to Mr Sharma. I would also check for the condition first , if they appear to be same in all aspect , Colt Detective Special would be my choice. Walther PPK is a nice fancy name , specially due to Mr Bond. but in US most people dont rely on it as their personal defense gun for everyday carry due to its feeding problem and no wonder why its called as Jammomatic in US. You may like to check the below discussion a lot of mixed feedback though. but the bottomline is its NOT reliable in compare to its price and other guns avialable in the market. and in Indian scenerio Colt .32 would be a wise choice in compare to ammo availability and reliability if conditions are same as per my opinion.captrakshitsharma wrote:Buy the gun in better condition. S&W model 31 ( lot more around than Colt) would be a batter choice in terms of price and availability... I do owns PP in 7.65 but I would suggest go for revolver....Colt_1911 wrote:Hiiiiii friends,
