Thanks for all the appreciation Ahmad4545, Abhrankash, Bruno22, MoA, sa_ali & saahil. It has taken lot of efforts, time, energy & moolah to source most of the things from US - the most painful [yet beautiful!] being Tyler 'T' grips.

Bruno22, it's a pleasure to own Extrema Ratio 185 RAO folder. It's W'really huge and a beauty to behold.

I want to get two things from US - first one being 0.32 Bore Snap Caps & the other being an expandable Baton. I need your recommendation of brands, if any. Can they be brought in through courier route?

Thanks & regards

Go for the ASP batons. These are very well made, probably the best, definitely the most used (in this price catogory) and due to this one of the most expensive.

Get this the same way you got your RAO. Mail order.

It is a very good revolver and you have got some great accessories and stuff to go with it.

SS congratulations on the revolver, great piece. Love your accessories, all you now need are speed loaders from HKS and speed loader carriers. I myself have 7 speed loaders.
Obviously, you are a holster guy too, why not get a shoulder holster as well. The fun part of owing firearms in my opinion is the accessories. :D

Anand

Congratulations on the purchase of a fine, fine handgun.

Thank you for all your suggestions and appreciations.

@anand: I do have shoulder holster but found very uncomfortable however i'll try again. You are absolutely correct - the fun is in accessories. I am trying to source 0.32 Snap caps & ASP Baton too through shipment route... don't know if it's permitted... lets see.

Regards

Beautiful revolver. I own two. Not especially expensive in USA. Snap caps in .32 ACP are available at http://www.midwayusa.com for $15 US for five. Nobody makes snap caps in .32 revolver that I am aware of. Not sure if they will ship to India. I notice everyone is marveling that you have 10 cartridges on your belt.
Is there a limit to how much ammo you can have? If you shoot your revolver, how do you buy new cartridges? Do you have to acquire a permit each time you purchase ammunition? How much do cartridges cost?
I have seen photos and videos of the IOF .32 revolver on the internet. I understand it it very expensive, something near $2000 US. Factory does not export, but at that price there would be no market.
I am interested in gun culture in other countries and how shooters enjoy their sport under different laws. I expect to return to this site often.

excuse my ignorance, but what is the usual ammo quota in India? At most, I can see 16 rounds in that one pic. If the revolver is loaded along with the ammo holder.

Here in America 20 rounds is about the smallest quantity of ammo one can purchase at one time. Most is packaged in boxes of 50. Do you guys have to buy single rounds?

@perfectionist: Thanks :)

@archersix: In India, one can hold Max 10 Rounds at a time. Six go in my wheel gun & four in my carry holder.

Hello,

I have just checked the web site for www.midwayusa.com. They do have snap caps in .32 S&W long. Not sure if you could get these through customs. Would they understand the difference between a snap cap and a real cartridge? I saw a youtube video of man firing an IOF .32 revolver. Very accurate at long range. I suppose with the high price of ammo you must be very careful with each shot. .32 S&W Long is not the most popular caliber in USA. But I can buy off the shelf or at any gun show. About $15 for 50 rounds. Magtech, Winchester, Sellier-Bellot and some other brands. If you can only have 10 rounds at one time and only buy 25 each year, that does not permit much practice. That would not even be enough for one self-defence scenario. Do you have to account to the authorities for each shot fired? Can you reload the empty cartridges? Do you have to apply for a permit to buy cartridges? Can you buy cartridges at a shooting range to use on the site? I am glad for the freedoms I have here when I see the restrictions you must face in India.
