I'm a member of a couple of different firearms related forums, but this is the first time I've joined a forum of shooting enthusiasts that is not centered in the US. Most of the forums I go to have members from Texas or Utah (or elsewhere in the US) talking about thier guns.
I want to broaden my knowledge, to see how shooters in other parts of the world enjoy the sport, that is why I'm here.
I'm also interested in how the right to keep and bear arms is defended in other countries. It seems to be a universal truth, that regardless of country or culture, a man wants the ability to defend himself, as well as his wife and children.
I've read just a few of the threads on IFG, and, though you guys in India definitely have a more restrictive environment, you definitely show some enthusiasm for expanding (or as we in the US would say "reclaiming") your right to personal defense. I wish you the best. Like I said earlier, I'm hear to learn, and if I do say something inappropriate (or annoying) don't be bashfull about correcting me.
Cheers
