Visho ,

Only time will tell who is correct , you or me !!!
Meanwhile this is not the time for us to squabble hence lets just for the moment "Agree to Disagree" and revisit this discussion when one of us thinks has been proved correct.

Cheers Rohit.

rohit
its not about who is correct or not ....it is just about the condition of a sport which has brought a country its first ever individual gold medal in close to a 100 years. do you think cricket was always this popular????

first we all keep screaming about the pathetic condition of indian sports or shooting in particular and when we see a bleak chance of it becoming a professional and popular sport or a possible career choice in the near future we say that it is not possible or viable.very hypocritical and not childish at all . this is not a personal ire or my argument. this is a forum which encourages healthy debating and not "arguing" and debating is not about having the last say. every body (including you and me) is entitled to their opinion .

Oup, HT today mentioned that Karni Singh range is in bad shape, and Abhinav didn't practied there at all, range can not develop even a national level player forget olympics, most of the time he parcticed at his home range and in germany.

I think more will come up on this issue as he comes back home and is interviewed by media.

Well Kanwal, lets see only time will tell.
We need to do more than bask in the warmth of this glory. I hope he turns the warmth into heat and really burns up these jokers and shows the rest of the country what they really are and what has become of shooting. Then again maybe, I'm expecting too much.

There is so much in what all you guys say.
There are several problems we need to face and start to constructively breaking them to smaller and easily solve-able stuff.
Thats the reason whay I started another topic - 'Noting to Silver to Gold to 'What Next'...
I would like to cogratulate Bindra again...

Just a thought as to how we all constantly keep harping that no facilities in India , no ammo , no training , no good guns , no good acco , no good food etc etc etc ..............

Seems to me that most of the shooters train abroad but there still seems to be a dearth of medals which sets me wondering that can their actually be another reason for not winning as many medals ???
