Want to become a sports shooter

Post by sachin91 » Sat Jun 18, 2016 5:45 pm

Dear IFG,

My Name is Sachin and I am from Durgapur, West bengal. I want to take up shooting as a career, currently I have a few BB Guns that I have gotten during my childhood, a rusted 11 old IHP national 35 that my cousin gave me and an Precihole SX100 Pegasus that I have recently bought from Aimco Enterprises Kolkata. I have been practicing with homemade paper targets for the last 3 years and now wanted to take shooting seriously. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Join a shooting club. Practice hard in 10 m air rifle open sight event. Take help from the club members. Take part in competitions. It doesn't matter whether you win or lose. You get experienced either way. Once you get the hang of it, you can decide which discipline you want to move on to. The following thread probably has the best answer to your your question:- viewtopic.php?t=4786

Not wanted to steal the thread but what is the SX100 Pegasus? Is it a good rifle?
