If you want a license the legal way there are a few criteria that you have to full-fill in order to get a license.
1. Sports Category
2. Danger to Life from Negative Elements
3. Protection of Crops from Wild Animals, etc.
What we call as valid reasons as why you should be allotted an Arms License.

In your case you have no valid reasons except for the Sports Category. In Sports Category, .22 License is granted the easiest way. Once you get a .22LR License you can upgrade it later to include 30-06/.315 at a later stage citing need to participate in Big Bore competitions. But, start with a .22LR. (If I am not too wrong about this).

Thanks but i think i'm gonna have to wait a few more years before applying for license.
