I am a US Citizen. I was born in Bombay.
Can I bring my shotgun with me to India as a tourist?

You can bring a firearm/airgun etc. in India only for a specific ISSF competition with a prior notice against a temporary licence. The licence will be valid for the duration of the event.
Only Indian citizens can bring in firearms as "returning Indians" on a transfer of residence basis.
