Dear Messers , Please elaborate on the possibility of importing riflescope from " ebay" _ possible problems and pitfalls. Is there legal hassles & / or high import duties involved ?

cheers haroon.

Don't take a chance with importing a riflescope Happy. Chances of the scope being confiscated are very high. Best thing to do would be to ask someone you know to carry it back with them. Also, ebay according to me would not be the best place to order a scope from. It's your call. All the best.

hi ,
as told by Mr.Prabhat, importing rifle-scope to india from e-bay is not at all recomended.there is a high probability tht it will be stuck up with custom deptt.
its better to ask somone to bring it to u.it will be easy and cheaper.
i brought a bushnel 3-9X32 for my .22 IOF rifle for just 33$ from Boston(U.S)
regards
