1. ID Proof - I gave Passport Copy,
2. Address Proof - I gave the latest BSNL landline AND Gas bills.
3. 1 PP size photograph.
4. One letter addressed to the Sub Insp of Police stating lack of criminal antecedents and requesting for a favorable Police verification report.
(The letter from the neighbour was not required - I carried it but they gave it back to me)
My photo got pasted in their register - also needed to state the purpose of verification in the register(along with the address and telephone numbers of course). I then had to sign the register.
I was then ushered into the SI's cabin along with this register and all the above documents (and their originals). The SI asked me what the PVC is for - I mentioned it is for the CRT - he laughed stating how will a double bore help.
I mentioned this is a prerequisite for joining the KRSA. He then looked at the request letter from KRSA, perused all the originals and the respective copies and affixed his stamp and signature on each of the copies plus the register. The originals were then returned to me and that was that! Total time taken 4-5 minutes start to finish.I intend to call KRSA this Sat to find out if the report has reached.
