i was wondering what barrel length was required for a firearm to be classified as a long arm??

Minimum of 20 inches as per the arms act. Please search the forum. This topic has already being discussed...

@farook many thanks, does that mean the IWI tavor(semi automatic) with a barrel length of 18" is not considered a long arm and can theoritically be got on an NPB license??
