IS THE ATHENA NX200 EQUIPPED WITH THE 60BAR NITRO PISTON?

Hi all,
Is the Athena NX200 equipped with the 60 Bar Nitro Piston ?

And, is the NX100 fitted with the 40 Bar Nitro?

Is that the reason for the increase in power from 16 J to 20 J. ?

Regards..

NX200 Athena's Nitro-Piston is 2 cm longer than that of NX100 Polaris and Scorpius.
NX100 Polaris and Scorpius is equipped with 60 Bar NP and NX100 Club Elite and latest Club Elite Plus comes with 40 Bar NP.
The power increase in NX200 is because of increased stroke length.

Hi Bishop and everyone else!
Happy Republic Day !

Bishop, are there more powerful NPs compatible with SX Orion out there in the market, which i could buy ?

With reference to your suggestion to buy an Athena and switch barrels which would result in increased power, I thinking if a more powerful NP if available, which would bump up the Orion's power to around 20 J or more, i could buy that and still save some money...

Yours views ?

Thanks and regards,
Arb.

Dear Arb.

Presently in India only NX200 has gas spring.
This has gas spring which is integrated with piston.
This is something very unique.
I tested a few NX 200 which generated around 13.5 ft lbs of energy.
If the AR has .22 bore barrel then it might reach 14.5 or 15 ft lbs of energy.
Another observation I like to share that with the passage of time the pressure of any gas spring reduces thus velocity.
Therefore one must not be under any illusion that power of nitro piston remain constant over a longer period of time.

But Basu da that Passage of time usually 3 times of age than a spring life. Say nitro piston will loss velocity after 15 to 20 k shots.approx

If anyone is aware the nitro piston used by Precihole is it made in India or imported.

Earlier I used to believing that.....
But my experience based on the feedback by users do not support that.
