Athena is just same as NX-100 with increased swept volume and may be a more powerful Nitro Piston. The trigger is same as that of NX-100.
same single stage, long pull jerky trigger like nx?

Yes GNV sir you are correct ,Hawke, Bushnell, Vortex Gamo, are available in store
Most of them r imported from china and I think its a copy not original one,,, lve used vortex and Bushnell bought from our online store and they are crap.
Discovery Optic and tac vactor optic are the best among all chinese brand ive used

Both originals and duplicates are available. BTW most of these original scopes are also manufactured in China

Athena is sub 15fpe Springer and I would restrict my pellets below 11 grains to better performance and life .

I think any pellet till 10.5 grains is more than enough for any spring air rifle below 15fpe... experts can comment as well here

Pravin

As report received from various sources so far NX 200 can reach upto 14.38 ftlbs at muzzle when new.
In that given power it is ideal to keep the pellet weight within or around 10 gns to get best result.
However one can obtain flatter trajectory if pellet weight is around 8 gns.

Since I didn't want to start a new post , I wanted to share my experience regarding my NX 200.

Today I shot my NX 200 at a distance of 120 Meters (131 yards) which is the longest I have ever shot with an air rifle (I tape measured the distance)
The target was a 6"x6" steel plate and I used g smith 9.6 grain high impact and 9.7 grain high-speed pellets.

I used a discovery 3-9x40 vt-r scope, and after several trials at different distances I started hitting the target with good consistency at 120m .

I shot standing position using a shooting stick made by plink sport for support, it was shaking a bit but still I managed to hit most pellets except few within 2 1/2 " close to 3" area . I used the mildots for elevation with little bit of zeroing

Next I will try hitting the target at 150 meters.

A break barrel rifle at 120mtr is just amazing, that too at standing position.
all the best for 150

Some day I will try 150m but It's a very tiring process, scope makes the gun cumbersome ,I think 50 to 60 meters is maximum practical range for a Nitro piston break barrel. Since the power is more consistent shot to shot so accuracy is way better than the springer rifle.
