Different Types of Pellets Give Different Shots

Through my .22 Precihole's Scorpius, I shot 5 pointed pellets and 5 wadcutter pellets from a distance of 15 meters. Shots were fired in this order: First a pointed, second a wadcutter, third a pointed, fourth a wadcutter and so on. 5 pointed pellets hit the bull's eye but out of 5 wadcutters only 4 hit the paper and 1 flew off without even touching the paper.

I am attaching a pix of the target paper.

Confused I seek comments from experienced shooters why this happened.

With airguns, you have to match the pellet to the airgun.

Similar airguns with consecutive serial numbers may not shoot similarly with the same pellet from a particular tin.

Also, once you have found your preferred pellet, buy as many as pellets possible from the same batch because different batches may exhibit slight variances. This is usually due to minor changes in the lead antimony composition from batch to batch. Does not always happen but it does sometimes.
