Dear IFGIANS,
5months before am bought a TOMMY AIR RIFLE model 2K , looks like heavy and Sturdy, cocking lever looks like unfinished sharp edges, power good, its TOP loader like BSA, bluing little shades , i think may be old stock, i felt for no recoil effect , well balanced, Trigger single stage like IHP, after 300 shots am mistakenly fired with the top loading breach in open position, after this happens there is no power noticed, and smoky smell comes from the loading bolt, i think piston seal gone, frnds any one guide me

1 ) broken piston seal
2) broken chamber seal
3 ) barrel may be bent .
If it's leather piston seal put some oil in air hole and wait for couple of days

What unknowingly you have done , might have broken the spring.
You need to open the gun to see exactly what happened.
No guess work likely to work.
These BSA Type tap loaders are famous for losing power early.

Respected Basu sir,
Today am open my Tommy 2K, piston leather seal shows burnt in nature, and damaged seal parts noted, am immediately replace with Precihole synthetic piston seal and PRECIHOLE SPRING 40 turns, out put ok, but not good , like previous performance, losing of its power, am choose this one for the build quality, gun stock also bit heavier than other models, .here am post some pics

Check weather barrel in Bent or not . After you are sure about barrel then think about changing piston seals and other components.

You most probably have problem in the breach area where you load the pellet. It is not properly sealing the air behind the pellet.I cant see the breach area in your pics hence i cant prescribe a remedy to solve the problem.

watch the above video. Your rifle is not a tap loader. It is a breach loader. That transfer port block is not sealing the air properly and hence the compression leaks. You have to take out the block and replace any seal on that part. Also the breach seal on that block.enjoy shooting

I have not seen this kind of breech till date.
It is not BSA type tap loader.

Hi Vishnu,

Is it .177? Because last when I spoke to Tommy, they said they had stopped manufacturing sidelevers & underlever's which was 5 to 6 months back.
The piece is a beauty.
