now, who buys a .22 after the new arms rule?
short barrel doesnot affect accuracy at all, unless of course if the barrel is only 1 inch long. there is a critical length of the barrel for optimal accuracy and precihole certainly have that figured out when they launched the karbin. short barrel maybe a little hard to cock, but it will be potentially more accurate as the pellet exits the barrel sooner there you can get good groups even with improper follow through. there wont be any substantial difference in the accuracy or power of the rifle of the same model and is more a matter of personal choice. i have the long barrel model in .22 and that is one of my most accurate guns.

Dear bkmarks55,
I have been using Chinese 3-7X40 for almost two years.
As of now ,it is doing well.
It had a problem with tilting of cross hair , which I managed to repair.
Your scope is little too heavy vis-a- vis gun weight.
I wish you get it at your door step.
Mine is detained by customs for almost two months :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Short barrel on spring/nitro piston airguns are actually have an edge over longer barrels, a classic example is bsa lighting, which is same as bsa supersport but a shorter barrel version.
