can we use huricaine main spring for artemis air rifle

Any spring with OD more than 20 mm & coils more than 37 , will not suit in Artemis.
BTW what I your objective ?

sdb artemis air rifle vs hurricane mod 16 air rifle which one is more powerful? Any body have comparison review? Please suggest

i have both guns artemis in 0.177 & huricaine mod 16 in 0.177 . huricaine is very much powerful than artemis also the quality of spring & overall gun is excellent. accuracy wise huricaine is more accurate only problem with huricaine is its stock it & this gun is heavy to use open hand . it gives pleasure of shooting only with bench rest. artemis is also good rifle but my artemis main sprig losses its springiness & length very fast just after 1000 shots now it gives less power compare to huricaine . i bought huricaine before artemis . till date it shoots somewhat 3000 pellets .its spring doesnot loose any length or doesnot bend .

after cocking when we close the barrel there is ratteling sound in my artemis. is coking lever in piston slot frictioning with spring while closing barrel .i am sure there is no metal to wood friction. please tell me remedy how to get rid of this ratteling noice

Is typhon spring good for SDB Artemis

Dear Arun K,
Typhon can be used in Artemis.
Recently SDB introduced Typhon made by imported German wire.
I wish you go to for that only.
Apply thin layer of grease (if moly is not available) on spring and then insert.
Be very cautious , unless you have spring compressor and one two helping hands it is not advised to change sprinng on your own.
