today morning during pickling i adjust trigger weight minimum of my artemis to see what happens when i cocked the rifle & hold barrel withleft hand & load the pellet & when close the barrel suddenly barrel jumped foutunetly i was holding barrel stongly so there is no dammege or accident.immidiately i increse the trigger weight to its original setting.some where i read that in sdb air rifle like artemis gennex that they will not misfire at lowest trigger adjustment but that is not true . i may be wrong but this happens in my case with artemis.

I had the same experience with mine. Not only that - it also started to auto fire!! So I kept readjusting the trigger bit by bit till auto fire stopped. The trigger is now definitely lighter than the original setting but like you I had to re adjust.

Dear Sagar12345,
New SDB guns like Artemis,Gennex,Sports and apache has weight adjustable trigger which is nothing but only a screw which on rotating clock wise reduces the weight by minimizing the surface contact between trigger sear and piston rod sear. There is every chance of autofire if anyone try to reduce the weight significantly.
Thanks.

Dear Sagar,

The kind of trigger is given by SDB ,it does not have any safety.
In the absence of safety , it is a dire need that at no point of time barrel is let free before completion of cocking.
Their factory settings do not leave any scope for misfire.
One who wants to fine tune the trigger , must be very careful while resetting it.
I have a practice not to leave the barrel till it is fully cocked.
This has to be followed by all while using a gun without safety.

Dear Vpillai,
Thanks for sharing the pics.Mine Artemis has simple front post unlike you.According to some it is better to have muzzle brake for easy pointing at target as it reduces wobble. Now you are having Artemis with muzzle brake.
Does it actually helps in reducing wobble and increase accuracy? Please let us know.
Since you are having both NX100 and Artemis please compare them in department of hold, trigger weight and accuracy.
Thanks.

Dear Targetpoint,i feel the Artemis is powerful and accurate, the clocking is very smooth, i have ordered a shooting chrony and waiting for it ,will do some experiments with it and will post the details, i am a beginner , all my knowledge (if I have any) about guns are from this forum and the articles written by our great members.
Clocking NX100 is little harder than artemis and NX100 found very accurate than Artemis
Thanks
