It has power and I found it accurate enough at 24 yards I had tested. With a good trigger I can shoot better at longer ranges is what I think. I use a scope because of my poor eye sight. For simple plinking the open sights should do. If you think the Hurricane in the current stock is attractive and flashy then go ahead and buy it. To me the current stock is simply stupid. When buying a gun the best thing to do is try different guns and buy the one which you can handle with ease and which suits you and your needs. Ultimately it is your choice only.

Yes sir! Been out of touch with the techie Mr. Manbir due to work pressure though routinely chatting with Col Puri. Last I heard from Mr. Manbir almost a month back he seemed pretty happy with the powerplant performance. So guess the gun is shooting quite well by now. They're putting in a new 2-stage trigger. They wanted some sci-fi electronic trigger, I asked them to rationalize! New machined sights (earlier ones were moulded) also in works. I want to improve the sights to be accurate out to 150m, lets see. He was also working on some adjustable stock-mods to customize the pull length & cheek rest.

For anybody buying it, I would say go for it, negotiate with them to send the mods later.. These guys will keep tinkering in every successive production cycle. Took me a lot of howling to make them see the benefits of 'iterative production'..! :)

I also done some R&D on electronic trigger for my IHP & PH air rifle but without any success eagerly waiting how AARMAR people are doing it
How can you see a target at 150 meters with open site & hit it :?

I would envy a PCP that's accurate at 150 meters.

If the target is 20'x20' then I think I can hit it if the pellet has the power to reach it , say once every 50 or so shots .....Should be great fun ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL

GNV you need to aim in the sky so that the pellets can reach at 150 meters

Most modern well made pcps can shoot at that range with out any problems. Some air rifles csn manage about a 2 inch group at 150yards even in the .22 cal. The wind is a big challenge at these distances.

Pratik,
The shot in this vdo is taken with a springer at 200yards, see his point of aim :D
