GNV,

The rifle is nice looking. I specially like the packing, thermocole inside the cardboard box. Seems well packed to prevent damage during transit.

I found that the Hurricane could be cocked safely even when out of the stock by holding the cocking lever as shown in the photos.

The breach block has raised round surfaces around the barrel hinge bolt hole instead of thin washers and the fit in the jaws of the receiver is perfect.

I had a hard day on my farm. After supper I started work on the photos of the gun taken previous night to post them and started posting them. But during the time consumed two large pegs of 100 pipers and now I am feeling very sleepy. I will post the remaining photos and my review tomorrow morning. Good Night.

And Big Daddy many many thanks for the tin of Precipells you had so kindly sent for this Review.

GNV garu could you pls do a Power & Accuracy Review of the Hurricane vis a vis Orion? Am thinking of buying it myself, then custom-cooking it into a wooden stock of traditional design... :)

What farming do you do?? You should have space on the farm to shoot guns, I am sure that you must be very tired otherwise 2 pegs don't make a good night.

Dear GNV Garu,

I got an e-mail from AARMR claiming the following:
1. It is spring break barrel.
2. Muzzle energy of this is 20 joules.
3. Accuracy: 35mm group in 35 mtrs.

4. Dovetail is available in current model and it coming soon.
5. 3 years free parts supply warranty. You need to get then replaced yourself. Main spring's cost Rs. 100/-
6. Stock design available only in fiber.
7. It is already rust free Ceramic Coating.
8. Picatinny Rail can be fitted over the dovetail. But, there is no need as the height of dovetail is 2mm and telescope will not fall.
It would be great if you could kindly verify these claims...

Hi. Hope it is not a guarded secret regarding performance of AARMR airgun as no one who has already received it is not sharing it.

I consider this trigger has three sears. In my view the trigger blade is first sear, the middle sear engages and locks the tube which pushes the steel balls which lock the piston rod when cocked and I consider this tube as the third sear. When the trigger is pulled the middle sear releases the round tube which has its own spring to push it forward and the the tension of the main spring pushes the steel balls out of way and the piston gets released.
I found this trigger smooth and crisp in operation.

The pellet holder is just that. A convenient place to store some pellets. It is not a pellet dispenser which drops out one pellet at a time when pushed.

I had initially requested them them to do this grouping at 35m bench rested before i place my order, but this one is using the mastershot pellets since those were the pellets they had.with precipell these should be bettered.
At 27 meters I am consistently knocking 1" target with precipell using FT sitting position without much effort.
