Aryans - Can you highlight on the defect that you noticed on your rifle that you purchased from Pyramyd Air. During all my imports I have noticed that the packing is pathetic and the rifle is not double boxed. When customs open your consignment, then the entire package comes home in a disoriented condition.
I am not sure on the returning, however I prefer opting for 10 for $10 which enables to get a test report and check if the springer/PCP is working properly without any defect.

Natchez ships products through USPS or UPS
it was like that before, but now it tracks movement inside India too, and much better then Indian post web site, which in my experience only provide "information unavailable" kind of service.

Hi vmanicks,
well i have a different experience regarding packaging as i found it sound in each of my imports.Actually when i opened my PCP, there is a crack at checkered grip on both sides......have no idea where did it come from and why "Pyramid Air " had shiped it. but from this whole episode ,i would like to share my experience here to all of potential buyer, who are planning to have next purchase from PA,that their cutomer support is realy Pathetic as far as when you lodge complaint against any defective goods and they don't even bother to reply your mails/queries and will leave you insane..

....all you can do is to call them up and just get RMA#(return merchandise Authorisation #) and rest is on Custom's mercy

........that's the reason, i would like to have some tips before i return this back to PA ...........

Aryan - I second your thoughts as Pyramyd Air at times they don't seem to work the customer's way. During my Gamo CFX purchase I opted for a 10 for $10. However the test report was not available. Rather they had sent my test report to another customer which seem to be the most silly response to be given to a customer. Even after several calls I haven't received the copy of my test report for the 10$ that I spent.
Andy - To my knowledge there are no restrictions on your imports. However all your imports are logged at the port of entry when customs clear your package. So they should be having a data base of all Air Rifles imported by each and every shooter / club members. On a reasonable note I would advise you to import a air rifle / pistol with a 3 - 4 month gap.

there is no differentiation when it comes to airguns or airsoft guns as per Indian regulations. Sad but Truth!.
So all rules for airgun apply for air-soft gun.
go there buy it carry it back, you dont need a membership (its NRAI or affiliated clubs).
