Hello everybody
The first part is true. they bought a lion cub at harrods and raised it and then introduced it to the wild. The video is abviosly a fake. There are too manmy discrepanciesthat you cannot even list them. the video has been taken in a ranch where they are holding hand reared lions.

the part that the filmborn free was basd on christian the lion is way off the mark. it is based on elsa a lioness raised by joy adamson and her husband in kenya. the book is born free with 2 other books forming part of the trilogy being living free and forever free. a lesson to all of us is that when elsa was to give birth to her cubs, contrary to what we would imagine she gave birth in the wild and did not show the cubs until they were old enough to be shown. joy adamson was killed by poachers and her husband died recently. the book is a must read for all wild life enthusiats, especially those who attibute anthromorphic properties to wild animals
