Want to import AEG airsoft Gun for Defence based project

Hi, we are a startup we recently got a project in that we need Recoil based guns, I seen that AEG Guns has automatic Recoil also and want to import those to India. We tried to contact to customs. They we're saying we need to have a DGFT licence to get it. We tried to DGFT licence but licence gonna take sometime which we don't had. I contacted to a seller he said the customs may or may not agree with DGFT. Is there any other way to import these?. The project of our belongs to the Defence so we may get permission from them but issue is with customs we don't know how to proceed with them. Is there any other way ? Money is not a problem we will pay 100% tax on it. On of the comments I seen that Chennai airport/port agreed when they paid 100% import charges. So let me know other ways and where others allow these. Thank you

we already tried with all possible ways we got on online. they were saying it is risk to import unknown models so its not possible for them.

we are not at all interested shooting projectiles. we are more interested on Recoil like semi and automatic. if there is any firing gonna happen its okay for we will try to do reduce it. like stopper for a bullet from barrel or something like that again its not our major priority.
