See how advanced they are in the aesthetics dept. even while replicating(poster too) , when it's not even present in our doctrine in any field.

I just love that MP5K clone.

Hi AD; I had once seen on NGC a program on Darra Adam Khel. The gunbsmiths there are said to produce exact replicas of any weapon you give them. Google for photos of darra and you see racks lined with kalashnikovs and kalashnikovs. If the market is so open can one just go and buy. How good are these guns and are they legal in Pakistan.

@shooter, Bro one shaheen cartridge costs around 50 INDIAN rupees.

@Moin, Dara Adam Khel is in tribal areas. They don't need a gun license. One can go there and buy a gun but when one leaves the tribal areas, security forces check and confiscate any weapons found. Dara made weapons are mostly supplied illegally in the settled areas of the country by gun runners. The quality of weapons varies from quite good to poor, depending upon the price. And yes, you can register a dara made weapon on your license.

Pakistan Ordnance Factory have been making a number of HK, Beretta and Glock clones under licence for a long time now. And they keep the prices affordable because unlike India the Pak government encourages its citizens to keep and bear arms. They have made clones of Mossberg pump action guns as well. Its is a pity that in India a second hand IOF pistol now sells for something around Rs 1.5 lakh.

TCda just out of curioisty since Ive read so much in this forum on the poor quality of IOF weapons how come they are also manufacturing the likes of tavors and kalashnikovs. Don't know about POF but is'nt it comparable to a merc or audo letting a maruti or mahindra manufacture their cars under license. Isnt the Insas and its variants also made by IOF and if the quality is sub par as all you guys say why on earth are these issued to our troops.

Thank you Armed Defence for sharing this very interesting information!

POF is definitely doing a great job producing good quality, value for money arms and ammunition. The icing on the cake - they are successfully exporting their product!
