Wasn't illegal at all until Musharraf took over and tried to close them down. But with the stopping of the Pakistani army by local tribals recently and the subsequent peace agreement between them, the markets of Darra Adam Khel may well have reopened. I know Johan has been there some years ago. Will ask him to post here if I talk to him.

The Indian Army already has aquired these guns and Rastriya Rifles Jawans have been issued the same in Kashmir. I have fired this gun there only and it looks good to me , and even the Jawans seem to like it. one of them said " Sir Imported hai, i look like a hero holding it " .ngrewal wrote:Shahid
I read somewhere now they are going for Travor Israeli gun for special forces, which even Israeli have doubts about.
But coming back to the topic , Darra Adam Khel , Darra Balluch , Darra Khas , all have been famous even before the partition days of having these gun markets.
