Great shooting skills with great equipment.

That is ridiculous! Do you do some bench rest HG shooting yourself?

C'mon MOA!! spill the beans on the 00 buck you used!!

"With solid bullets on heavy animals such as elephant, rhino and buffalo this power is quite apparent but is not so obvious as when soft-nose bullets are being used, say, lion, particularly when is a case of stopping a charge : the .404 will stop him all right, but will seldom crumple him quite so completely as will the .416" -- John Taylor, Big Game and Big Game Rifles, (Ch. IX)

I am not Joel... and certainly dont even claim to have him as an acqaintence.
I primarily try a little point blank sporter (factory) class bench rest and am lousy at it. Generally aggregating enough to win the small clubs and informal competitions. Though nothing even remotely at the state levels. On a good day might manage something in the .2's (mostly in the .4's)... while to really be competitive you need something in the .01's...
I do shoot a few long range competitions... but never finish in the top 10. I still havent mastered mirage reading, and dont get enough opportunities to shoot long range. But yes I can score hits to about 1K.
Heavy Gun... cant even dream of it. The costs are absolutely prohibitive.
