It was due to same reason IHP Factory was closed for almost 10 months after May'11 verdict and cud opened after Stay order.

I hv just informed that Case is still on and can go to any side
As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

@mistry
Never ever add '0' after +91

Your no. wont be legitimate
So many times, it happens too fast
You trade your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge
Of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the
Eye of the tiger

The case progress can be checked on Supreme Court website. The case is SLP(Civil), number 432-434 of 2012. More details might be with iswgirish.

I purchased few days back Precihole Orion air rifle from aimco.co.in. They mention in the invoice that no license is required.

Any air gun that passes the deal wood test does not require license because of the Central Government notification No. G.S.R 991 dated 13-7-1962. It can be read at the following link http://www.indiansforguns.com/viewtopic ... 335#p50363

sORRY I AM Asking this question,as there are already few answers for it above.

Iam a student in uk, i will be coming back to india in a month. I wanted to buy an airgun- dan wesson pistol (1.77 4.5mm) here in uk its considered as fire arm and does not require arms license., i want to know if its legal to get it in baggage when i come to India. Iam not a member of any club, however i can join a rifle club here in uk.
I might come through mumbai or bangalore airport.
