arms license rejected under legal heirloom

hello everyone
I applied for arms license under legal heirloom category, my father is 74 and having same firearm more then 40 yrs, so I m eligible to grant license under heirloom category, its rejected by saying there is not valid reason for issue firearm license to you. and ask to go for an appeal, should I go to appeal??
any tips for appeal? thanks in adance

'Transfer of family heirloom' is in of itself a valid reason for wanting/ issue of an arms license. Get a competent lawyer and file an appeal.

Kindly seek a lawyer and provide affidavits (which your lawyer would advise you ) from your father that he seeks to transfer his firearms to you.
