Hi Rusty,

I was talking about this clay thrower. Amit has one and we used same at US, works pretty good and looks pretty simple to make. what you think.

Looks like good fun guys. For the rimfire, may I suggest some reactive targets.

This one, you start shooting the four at the bottom and they sit up on the "shelf" and when the top one is shot, the shelf drops and they reset.

Be careful with the obstacle course as moving with a gun is very tricky and you have to turn up your safety meter quite a few notches. Instead, mix up the targets a bit, in distance and elevation and size and color. You can even add a "no shoot" target party obstructing a shooting target to add penalty points. Metal plate targets are easiest to setup and maintain. Best of luck and keep us posted.

Good! You make one in your dad's workshop when you go home next month.
BTW, remember to take the T1 holster...

Provided you know what to look for.

You are right but I think I have got that covered. However, it's not idiot proof. Here's what I have in mind:
1) At the starting point, the bolt is to be closed on an empty chamber and only then can the magazine be inserted.
2) After each shot at each point, the bolt will not be opened. The bolt will only be cycled after reaching the next firing point.
Instead, mix up the targets a bit, in distance and elevation and size and color. You can even add a "no shoot" target party obstructing a shooting target to add penalty points. Metal plate targets are easiest to setup and maintain. Best of luck and keep us posted.
Those are good suggestions, will try and incorporate them.

Guys, how are you placed this Sunday? Would prefer doing it in the morning rather than in the evening. We will have one obstacle course of five shots each, followed by a few shots at a frisbee with the shotgun and then contibue doing something or the other with the airguns. I think I should be able to make it but cannot confirm until later.

Does anyone have a digital video camcorder to film the obstacle course?
