July 13, 14 and 15th, located at my shop 50 miles north of St Louis airport in the metropolis of Michael, Illinois.

Focusing mainly on beginning blade-forging skills, we'll also harden, temper and install handles on the blades so you'll have a completed knife or two to show for your efforts.

Class size to be 4-5 people.

Cost is $285 per person for the workshop, which includes lodging in a very cool reproduced (Native North American)indian village at the same place.

No food provided, but an ample cooking and eating facility is on the premise too. There are several restaurants within 10 minutes drive as well if you don't feel like cooking and the resultant (wife says mandatory!) cleaning up <G>.

Feel free to bring some guns if you'd like to do some shooting to add some variety to the weekend, at distances up to 200 yards, I'd like the emphasis of the weekend to be on knife making but hey, you know what they say about what makes Jack a dull boy.

Most materials will be provided, but you will be expected to bring some items (safety glasses, hearing protectors, valid health/accident insurance, leather or Kydex if you want to make a sheath, etc.)
