IFG Fishing Trip

Post by Mack The Knife » Wed Feb 07, 2007 1:26 pm

Dev, pack your bags my man-we are going REAL fishing!
Yeah man! The remaining weekends in Feb are taken but March 26th (Monday) is a holiday so we can do two or three days of fishing. Let me know asap so that I may block the cottage.

If anyone else is interested please let me know. Only 8 adults are permitted to stay at the cottage at any one time. Would like to cap it at 5 max though. So two spaces to go.

Non-member fishing charges are Rs.650.00 per day. Cottage charge is an additional Rs.400.00 per day but that is equally divided between the anglers.

Okay...looking good.

We could stretch it to 8 blokes in total but we only have one coracle at each of the two lakes and it could get crowded whilst fishing but great fun otherwise.

Non-member non-fishing charges are Rs.350.00 per day + whatever the cottage charges come to. This is in case someone who does not fish wants to come along.

Vikram, would you be in India on those dates?

BTW, I would have loved to hold a speed shooting comp or whatever but I am afraid guns of any de.scription, including airguns are no longer permitted.

Airsoft may be okay but I will check and get back on this.

Better you post the charges for WASI cottage usage here Mack The Knife.A table or something
Will help generate more interest and blokes will be comfortable with the financials...Also, a couple of action snaps and snaps of the cottage will surely be welcome-Prataps grass carp etc??!!

Okay, that's five so far.

At the most three more places to go.

Do you fish, Pran?

BTW, there are only five camp cots. So two people will need to bring sleeping bags or dhurries. I am okay sleeping on the floor. Enough padding, you see! ;)

Sorry, missed this post earlier.

I haven't fished at Manchinbele but I may have been there in the past. Is it close to Bidri?

Here's wishing you the very best of beginners luck and don't forget to take the camera.

Are Bidri and Bidadi different names for the same place or did I get it wrong?
