want to join shooting club in Rajasthan

I am native of Rajasthan & keen interested to join a shooting club in Jaipur or jodhpur.but i don't know any club in my area,can anybody show me the address & proses to join the club. i m 30 year old.

thanks. keep us posted. all the best. if u go to jaipur. u may try going to jagatpura range to find out more details or ask ur friends in jaipur to do it. i couldnt even succeed in doing that. in fact many shooters there were surprised asking me if there was a state shooting association esp one with open membership.

I think membership is closed at the Rajasthan Rifle Association & Jila Jalore Rifle Shooting Association. Non member are allowed to shoot at the range in Jalore.

They have promatic trap, double trap & skeet machines, heard the skeet ranges are being renovated.
You can stay at http://www.sianaadventures.com & shoot at the range..

They have charges for non members use of range, their trap or skeet gun(imported few years ago), clays & imported cartridges

when was it open. thats what i am dying to find out. True, there are a few "elite clubs" where the membership is closed that i know of. They usually are privately governed, have a membership of a few lakhs and give u the use of clubhouse, lawns halls for parties, bars and restaurants.

This club is so elite, they dont even let people know about their facilities. They keep everything so low-key that the facilities are in fact invisible. the jagatpura range is new but this "elite" club has had 'closed' its membership even before that. in fact it is the only club (shooting or othervise) which has 'closed' its membership because people are lining up to join it due to its unique characteristics:

no clubhouse
no office
no grounds
no shooting range (as i said, the jagatpura range is very new)
ambigious contact details
no member directory
no misclleneous facilities
no one welcome
no board/executive commitee
no AGM


if anyone is aware of any other 'facilities' please feel free to add to the list.

I shall be very happy and grateful to be proven wrong.

i suppose, i shall be shooting in jalore till then

join the jda shooting range at jagatpura in jaipur its name is oasis and you have 4 trap and skeet ranges, 10 mts airrifle and pistol ranges and 50m ts .22 ranges
all ranges are fully funtional and have a very reasonable membership rates.

I am a member of O.A.S.E.S. Jaipur

The annual membership fee is Rs6,000/- for each sport. However the member should carry his own Weapon, Ammo and Target.
