Dear Friend,
There are three clubs that I know off, these are 1. Shiv Chhatrapati Kridapeeth, (Sports City) Mahalunge, Balewadi, Pune. 2. Renuka Swaroop High School (off Tilak road). If you have any difficulty in obtaining membership, get in touch with me.
Regards

Thanks hvj1 for your infomration.

I visited the Renuka Swaroop range. But they say that training camp dates are yet not confirmed and they will let me know if dates are declared. I am getting this answer from them from last 10 days or so.
When I went first time there they said camp will be from 10-sep-09 or 15-sep-09. I don't know what they are really going to do for this month or there is any other problem.

Thanks you your help, I will contact you if needed

Regards
Mahesh

Hi Mahesh,

This is the "shooting season" as we call it. The camp dates are not been declared since most of our shooters are out of station for ongoing tournaments and are using the weapons owned by the club besides all level-1 and level-2 coaches are also busy in either state/open competitions' management and/or other related work who are required for proper training of individuals.

The moment competitions are done and we have clear visibility of coach and weapons availability, the dates will be communicated to all those who have provided their contact details. I hope you too have done so. If not, please send your contact details on [email protected] and we would be glad to assist you.

In the meanwhile, you may also like to visit our googlegroup at http://groups.google.com/group/mes_astram

I hope this helps. Hope to see you at the training camp soon.

Thanks,
mes_astram administration

@hvj

If i become member of AIMS, will i be eligible to import an Airgun,
because this club is not affiliated with NRAI or PDRA. It's Private

Mayuri,
Can you give me a current review of the range ? Was in the first batch of the Air rifle/weapons training camp held by Mr. Kedar Salunkhe and am thinking about applying for membership. Mr. Kedar Salunkhe was highly dedicated, and it was because of his efforts that the range got constructed and became operational [Is what I heard], but they [MES Shooting Range] have explicitly mentioned the following on their website :

Note
We have no branches or sub ranges in Pune, and we are nowhere concerned with AIMS Shooting Range, TopGun Rifle and Pistol Club and Mr. Kedar Salunkhe.

Know the reason for the above ?

1. Website : http://messhootingrange.com/
2. Blog : http://messhootingrangepuneindia.blogspot.in/

Thank You.
