Need help regarding NRAI Membership

Post by anirbanb » Fri Dec 20, 2013 7:12 pm

Hello Friends,

Again I need some help from you.

I want to be a member of NRAI, and followed almost most of the topics in this thread and after that I downloaded all forms realted to membership. But there is one small issue I am facing.

In the form they are asking for two existing NRAI member's "AUTOGRAPH" :D

What to do now? Is there anyone who can help me out in this issue? Waiting for you valued inputs.

Ganesh- I'm sure many ppl here are willing to help including myself. Usually the condition is to spread the message of rkba and enroll 5 members in NAGRI. PM me if you need help.

To be honest I don't see many benefits of being an NRAI member- at least not in its current form but the decision is entirely yours.

Hello Mr. Anand, PM feature is still deactivated in my profile. So is there any other way to connect with you?

Hello SS, I am from Mumbai. And obviuosly you can ask the reason. Actually I do travel a lot for my job purpose and my wife stays alone most of the time. I just tried to buy a small airpistol for safety purpose (atleast mentally), but they are asking rifle club membership. because of that I am trying to take one.

I suggest you tie a long string to your air pistol's trigger guard. Then, when your life is threatened, swing the air pistol around you in large circles and hit the goon in the head with it.

An air pistol is not a self defense weapon. Waving in someone's face when you are threatened is liable to get you into more trouble than you bargained for.

Suit yourself, but a water pistol would do you as much good and be cheaper and easier to get.

Hey Timmy, Just asked for some help from fellow members, but I think you are wasting my time. If you can't help me out, then I think you don't have to reply. That will be good for me also. My be I am rude and am apologizing for that to you but please.

Anirbanb, I know neither you or Timmy but your attitude is certainly not reflective of what is usually followed on this forum. Ppl will go out of the way to help members, sensitise them and share their own experiences to help others learn. The fact that you got responses so quickly is proof enough. Timmy's words might have hurt you but they were put to get a point across- a point that could very well mean the difference between life and death of YOUR family members- not his.

I have to reiterate USING AIRGUNS FOR SELF DEFENSE IS OUTRIGHT DANGEROUS TO OUR OWN SELF, NOT THE ATTACKER.

however, in case Anand is not able to respond to you feel free to message me. I am happy to help but pls rethink on whether you want to keep an airgun for self defense. It is just not advisable.
