Require Shooting Lessons in Noida/Delhi

I am interested in taking a few shooting classes so as to be able to handle guns the right way and use them for self defence if the need arises. Can you recommend a shooting academy in Noida or Delhi (areas close to Noida) that can cater to my needs? I will be able to attend classes only on Saturday and Sunday, for an hour each day.

We are proposing a district rifle club here ( Gautam Budhh Nagar).
It'll be operational by June.
We'll have a coach there.
You can take lessons there, atleast for Air guns, if not mainstream fire arms.
If inetrested, contact me after May 23 for membership.

most rifle clubs use airguns only.very few clubs have got space for firearm.
i train myself in my farm with all due precaution.
i didn't have a trainer,learnt from computer and practiced.

I agree..
Most will have airguns.



But there's Top Gun academy which charge 12.5k for a week and teach issf competition shooting.


If you can wait till june, GBNRA, can provide this.
We are working forward that.

You see Shelly , needs a place to learn shooting in noida in his/her second post, and you are already working hard for GBNRA.
Even if you mind, can I know if you have any experience about any kind of competitve shooting ?
Are you a member of any club?

there is a difference between competition shooting and learning to shoot for self defense..
A person who trains for competition shooting may not necessarily be able to train people in combat\self defense shooting... there are a lot of things that matter combat or self defense shooting for example how to draw your weapon, how to quickly clear a jammed weapon and how to quickly reload, etc.... XL_traget would be able to explain more on it..

Thats why the concept came up!!

Many enthusiasts, are unable to get into shooting.
NRAI doesnt give memberships that easily, you need a proposer,etc..

In my case, all I wanted was a nice gun for some serious shooting ( roots being Army is my passion, and I got conference out, cant apply for next three years. Too old for NDA, TES) and wanted a nice airgun. Indian gun, well you do know, and to import you need a membership, again NRAI no use, UP doesnt have a range here.

It boiled down to district level. No RA.
So what?!! If you dont have one, create one! (see, sounds so simple)

I wont let any other enthusiast die in my Janmbhumi.
After we form it, nobody has to pay commissions to get a good air gun.
Nobody has to wander finding a proposer.
Now, Gautam Budhh Nagar will show what potential it has in national tournaments.

I dont like bickering, but isnt he doing a good deed by getting the district rifle association started? Wont people benefit from it? He has mentioned a few ways it will benefit residents of that district, how will it harm anyone?
I am no ...... .... .... (whatever tht was meant to convey) of ifg, i am a plain guy who is happy to see someone take a proactive step in a positive direction. I am sure you would agree too?
And yes, i do read all relevant posts before i comment.
