Arms Act 1959

Post by Sourojit » Sun Mar 31, 2013 6:41 pm

Dear friends,

Everybody here only mentions the Arms Act,1959 whenever any Law related arguement springs up.
But the Arms Law was changed in around 1984,right?
So,Arms Act 1959 must be invalid now and the current Law must be something like "Arms(Amendment) Act,1984" ?

Arms Act 1959 and its Rules are very much in force. Amendments made to it from time to time, do not make it invalid or change its name. If you want to read the Arms Act 1959(with all the amendments) and its Rules, you can download them from the MHA website.
