This morn I broke the law; I went out for a stroll carrying a walking stick.
I did so with the deliberate intention of defending myself against a savage dog if one should attack me.

In Australia it is an offence to possess anything for the purpose of self defence.

Fortunately I was not attacked so reverted to being just another old guy with a walking stick.
Self Defence is not only a right, it is an Obligation.

That IS news to me. That is very unreasonable.Almost as bad as UK.
