This is posted here especially for those who thought that the proposed centralised database of arms license holders, was nothing but an innocent attempt by the MHA to streamline things. It would seem that it will be plugged into this new tool that Wipro is to develop for the MHA, so we can all now look forward to needless harassment simply because we own licensed arms!
but can certainly be misused. The Home department of each State would probably have access to this information already if required by a neighbouring state, so what is the idea behind centralizing this?
