Now its a Mr.Ateeq who owns and runs this shop. Very polite but charges an arm and a leg. Guess overheads must be high

Banjara,

Ateeq and Laeeq are brothers and both of them jointly run Royal Armoury. Both of them are very polite.

This is the closest Armoury to my place.
Courteous place and I found them to be reasonale scope.I purchased a Air Rifle case for Rs.700 which is very good.
But the collection of Airguns and Pistols is dismal.

some correction for those who are going to search for it for the first time.

it is not "Opp.Mercedes Showroom" but opposite Lotus Hospital.

And while looking for it, drive slowly looking to your right as this is a One Way and you will have to go all the way around again if you miss the shop…..did it a couple of times.

I have Garmin GPS navigator and it guided me to Mercedes show room, but surprise it is not a Mercedes show room but hospital. I parked on left side of the road and it is almost impossible to get to another side on foot.

Maps which used in Garmin are quite old.

I got 2 tints of P10 177 pellets and they are quite accurate.

Layeeq and his brother Atique have renovated their shop at Lakdi ka Pool, Hyderabad and got very good collections. One of their friends Mr. Shad helps them with their work. They are very polite with their customers and takes good care of them. I visited their shop many times its very good. Among the gun dealers in Hyderabad Royal Armoury is best.

Both brothers are very polite and my experience with them is limited to depositing my revolver for safe custody with them once in 1998 and helping buy my friend's now late grandfather buy a Llama .32 pistol a few years ago. I also accompanied my cousin to help him select a pistol from these guys. Mr.Layeeq is very knowledgeable and helpful. He even gave me a free lockable storage box for my revolver when all I asked him was where he had it made. :D The prices are a little bit more expensive than other places but the condition and selection of guns is also very good.
The only thing is that, they do not give out prices of their ammo over the phone and this is understandable.
Regards,
Anand

visited them twice, just waste of time
on telephone they will tell you that they have what you need and then when you came, they will show you something else.
you can be polite, but for me that realty shows how much respect do they have to their customers and of course no comment on prices.

Visited the store twice this year, once to help a friend in picking an IOF Revolver. Ateeq the younger brother was very patient and helpful as we had to postpone the sale more than once due to elections and such. Then yesterday to purchase some ammo at a reasonable price. I would definitely deal with them again :D .
