In the next clip-re field strippping the Beretta,if it's a Model 1935 in .32,then going by the serial no of the gun it's probably manufactured around 1955-56,if Model 1934 in .380 then somewhere around 1940.
http://www.berettaweb.com/armi/Beretta% ... 201935.htm
If it is off intrest there are a few magazines floating around in Delhi for Model 935,I picked up one earlier this week.
What make is the shotty, looks to be in good nick.
Safe shooting

sanjay it would be better if you started a new thread and not start one that has no relevance to the caption. You are hijacking someone's thread...

Thanks Sanjay for the info about the Beretta. Its a .32 and I used the same site to find the age (divide the no of pistols manufactured by the no of years blah blah blah ...)The pistol came with two magazines but with the restriction of 4 shots I lcarry the two with 2 shots per magazine !!!!

And of course thanks for the good word about the W & S . That was bought by Dad in 1954 and has done a fair deal of duck,Partridge and boar job in Haryana to UP Hills.

That was not the intent Jonah,I quite enjoyed the trophy chase, after which I actually went through his album
which was intresting too, since he owns a Beretta rather than start a new thread just thought would share the info since it might be off of intrest to him,esp since getting original parts for some of these fire arms in our neck of the woods can be a challenge :(

No problemo sanjay! its just a matter of site admin and efficiency.. If you had posted your message under a new heading under a relevant topic, it would be much easier to find the post if someone wanted to refer to your post at a later time...
