1973 – Son, marry a Girl who follows our faith

1983 – Son, marry a Girl of our own status

1993 – Son, make sure you marry an Indian Girl

2003 – Son, marry a Girl either younger or the same age as you

2013 – Son, marry you must, but make sure it’s a GIRL!!!

I distinctly remember my dad calling the three of us brothers, way back when we were just out of our teens.

He said to us "Boys, I don't care who you marry, just make sure it is a girl!"
