Ha! Great photos Mack.
My Bombay (it was still Bombay when I left) was NavyNagar and Cuffe Parade.
I went to Bawa Central (Cathedral) so all your Bawa Tales ring a bell.

What is Thane like now? As crowded as Bombay?

I still have to remind myself it's Mumbai now and not Bombay. Ditto for Poona, even though the name changed to Pune long before Mumbai.
LOL @ "Bawa Central".

Yup - getting worse by the day. Lakes disappearing - tall skyscrappers arising by the bunch. Forests and mountains getting shaved; vehicles and their pollution taking us to the graves. All this 6-7 years of observation - for someone like you outta time machine it would be a culture shock.

Moin, I wasn't in Bombay as a kid, but I also went to a St. Aloysius'!!!

AGN - Mack is anyway chary of visiting Mumbai, now you had to go and scare him off Thane also!!!
Cheers!
